My Cane Corso destroys every collar within a week — rubbing, biting, you name it. Saw this spiked buffalo leather one and figured it was worth a shot. When it arrived (ordered from Luxury Dog Collar, shipping was stupid fast) the packaging was actually nice, like unwrapping something high-end. The leather is thick, smells rich, and feels like it’ll outlast me. The spikes are heavy-duty, not that hollow junk, and the chrome finish hasn’t flaked despite him rolling in mud and me hosing it off. I got the nameplate engraved with his name and my number — deep, clean engraving, not a sticker. Fits him perfectly now but definitely follow the measuring guide on their page, don’t guess. He struts around the park like he owns it. Only thing I’d change is maybe offering different spike lengths, but honestly this thing is just solid. Best collar I’ve ever bought and I’m picky.

Ordered from Luxury Dog Collar for my Doberman, and I’m really pleased. The buffalo leather is thick and feels like it’ll last years, not months. I was surprised by the water resistance too—he waded into a stream and it dried without any stains. The engraved name plate came out crisp and perfectly centered, no spelling mistakes. The spikes are serious hardware, not flimsy plastic. They have a polished chrome finish that catches light. Only tiny thing: they are sharp to the touch, so I wouldn’t leave it on during rough play with other dogs, but for walks it’s perfect. Packaging was really nice, came in a cloth bag. Fits just right after measuring his neck like they said. Would buy again.

Let me start by saying this collar is beautiful. The buffalo leather is substantial and has a nice matte sheen, not plasticky at all. The nameplate engraving came out crisp and exactly how I typed it, which I appreciate because my dog’s name has a weird spelling. I took the measurements as instructed and it fits my Doberman with plenty of room to adjust. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the outer spikes was a tiny bit wobbly right out of the box. I tightened it myself with a small tool and it’s fine now, but for the price I expected every rivet to be perfect. It’s held up well for a few weeks of daily walks, including a couple of downpours, and the water just beaded up on the leather. The dog doesn’t seem to mind the weight at all. Would still recommend to anyone wanting that extra edge without going full punk rock. Just double-check the hardware when you get it.
