The collar itself is a work of art, no doubt. The leather is robust and the chrome plating on the bullet tips catches the light beautifully. The personalized nameplate was flawless and really makes it feel custom. My only struggle was with sizing. I followed the guide, measured my Labrador’s neck loosely as suggested, but when it arrived it was a bit snug on the largest setting. The collar doesn’t have a ton of flex initially, so getting it over his head was a whole production. I ended up having to exchange it for the next size up, which was a bit of a hassle, but Luxury Dog Collar’s customer service handled it smoothly. Now that it fits, he looks like a gentleman. It’s heavy enough that I only put it on for walks and outings, not for lounging at home, but it definitely draws compliments. Four stars only because the sizing chart could have been a hair more detailed, but I’d still recommend it to anyone with a big, active dog.

Let me start by saying this collar is beautifully made. The buffalo leather is thick, the stitching is even, and the engraved plate is crisp. The bullet studs are solid metal and give it a very rugged, high-end look. The problem for us is the weight and bulk. I have a 20-pound Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, and while the collar fit her neck measurements, it just sat so heavily that she kept trying to scratch it off. After a few minutes of wearing it indoors, she looked miserable. I think this would be a perfect match for a large, muscular breed like a Mastiff or Rottweiler, but on a medium-sized dog it was overkill. I ended up gifting it to a friend with a Doberman and it looks incredible on him. I’m giving three stars because the quality is real, but the product description could use a warning about the actual heft. If your dog isn’t built like a tank, maybe look at a lighter style.

This is the third handmade collar I’ve bought (not from this store) and the first that actually sits right on my Doberman’s long neck. The bullet-style rivets are subtle but add just enough edge without looking tacky. We got caught in a downpour last week and the collar dried without any water stains or stiffness, which I guess is that water resistance they mention. The engraving is deep, not laser-printed, so I’m not worried about it scratching off. Hardware feels solid and the clasp has a satisfying weight to it. I’ll be using this brand for all future collars.

The collar itself is gorgeous. You can smell the real leather as soon as you open the package, and the chrome plating on the buckle and nameplate shines like jewelry. My Whippet looks very distinguished. I did have to exchange the size because I measured her old nylon collar and didn’t account for the wider width and different fit of this style. Luxury Dog Collar’s customer service was really patient and walked me through how to measure with a soft tape, then sent a replacement without any fuss. The new one fits perfectly and doesn’t slide over her narrow head. Only giving 4 stars because a sizing guide card in the box would have saved me the back-and-forth.

I was a little nervous ordering something this detailed online, but I’m so glad I did. The leather is thick, genuine buffalo hide – you can smell the quality right out of the box. It’s stiff at first, which I expected, but after a few days of wear it started molding to my Boxer’s neck perfectly. The bullet studs are securely fastened and have this gorgeous gunmetal sheen that doesn’t look cheap at all. The engraved name plate is deeply etched and perfectly centered; the font is clean and easy to read. I got it from Luxury Dog Collar and their shipping was surprisingly quick, plus the packaging kept everything scratch-free. My dog usually ignores his collars, but this one has a solid, substantial feel without being abrasive. He’s worn it hiking, in the rain, and rolling in dirt, and a quick wipe down brings it right back. Zero fraying on the edges after three weeks. If you want a collar that looks like a piece of craftsmanship rather than a pet store accessory, this is it.

I have a 110lb Rottweiler who destroys every collar within a couple months, but this one is holding up like a champ. The buffalo leather is thick and has a nice matte finish that only gets better as it breaks in. No fraying, no stretching at the buckle holes. The engraved nameplate is set deep and hasn’t faded at all despite my dog rolling in every mud puddle he can find. I ordered from Luxury Dog Collar and it arrived quicker than expected, neatly wrapped in cloth inside a sturdy box. It felt like unboxing something from a real craftsman, not just another pet store item. Definitely worth the money if you have a strong, active dog.

Bought this as a birthday surprise for my brother’s rescue pitbull, and it was a hit. Ordering from Luxury Dog Collar was easy—the engraving preview updated in real time and I could check exactly how the name would look. It arrived in a classy gift box with tissue paper, no assembly required. The leather has a rich, dark brown tone and the metal rivets and nameplate give it a tough-but-classy look. Only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is the shipping took about four days longer than the estimate, and I was getting nervous it wouldn’t arrive in time. It did, and the collar is beautiful, just order a bit early if it’s for a special occasion.

First off, the craftsmanship is undeniable. The leather is quality, the stitching is straight, and the personalized plate looks exactly like the preview. However, this collar is heavy—my 45lb Cattle Dog mix seemed uncomfortable wearing it around the house, so we only use it for structured walks now. Also, the D-ring is positioned a bit low, which makes the leash clank against the nameplate with every step. A small detail but annoying on a quiet morning walk. If you have a large breed that can handle the weight, it’s a stunning piece. For a medium-sized dog, it might be overkill. I’m keeping it but wish the listing had emphasized the heft.
