The leather and steel plate are top notch, no doubt. The buffalo hide is very sturdy and the mirror finish on the plate is slick. However, I’m not thrilled with the spikes. They are extremely sharp—I think the listing said ‘aggressive pyramid spikes,’ but these could actually cause injury if my dog plays rough with other dogs. I had to file them down slightly. Also, the collar arrived with a couple of tiny scuffs on the steel, likely from handling. It fits my Kangal well and does give a sense of security, but for the price I expected the spikes to be more blunt and the finish perfect. Not a bad collar, just needed some DIY fixes.

Ordered from Luxury Dog Collar for my American Bully. Shipping was surprisingly quick and the collar came in a nice cloth bag. First impression: wow, this thing is built to last. Leather is stiff but breaking in nicely. The steel plate is flawless. My only complaint is the weight—my dog is 90lbs and the collar itself is a solid chunk. He wears it on walks and looks like a gladiator, but I can’t leave it on him all day like his old nylon one. Also, the spikes are exactly what I wanted, but be aware they will scratch your legs if he leans against you. Still giving it 4 stars because the craftsmanship is outstanding, just know it’s more for short-term wear and protection.

This collar is an absolute unit. I have a 130lb Cane Corso who pulls like a freight train, and the buffalo leather is incredibly thick and shows zero signs of stretching after a month of daily use. The stainless steel plate is beautifully polished and the pyramid spikes are intimidating without being sharp enough to hurt him. People literally cross the street when we walk, which I appreciate for safety. It’s heavy, sure, but that’s the point—it matches the dog. The only tiny gripe is the buckle could use a roller to make it easier to fasten on a wiggly dog, but that’s minor. Highly recommend for any giant breed owner.
