I really wanted to love this. The leather base is beautiful and the gold hardware is impressive, but after just three weeks of normal walks, I noticed two of the pink crystals had already fallen out and one is loose. For a collar billed as heavy-duty for large breeds, I expected better stone setting. It’s not like my Rottweiler is rolling around in gravel – just pavement and grass. The collar itself fits well and looks amazing from a distance, but up close the gaps are noticeable now. I’ll keep it for photo days, but for what I paid I shouldn’t have to baby it this much.

If you want your dog to look like royalty, this is it. My Presa turns heads every time. The crystals are securely set, the leather feels like it’ll last forever, and it’s clearly made with serious hardware. My only hesitation giving 5 stars is the weight. It’s a lot for daily wear, especially in summer – you can tell it’s meant for short outings or events, not all-day romping. I also found the prong holes were very snug at first and needed some working to get the buckle through without a fight. Still, for the price, the craftsmanship is hard to beat. Just know what you’re getting into: this is armor-level luxury for a big dog.

I was nervous ordering something this flashy online but wow, it’s even nicer in person. The leather is thick and sturdy but still supple, and the pink crystals catch the light like crazy. My Cane Corso, Bruno, is 130 lbs of muscle and this 8 cm wide collar actually looks proportional on him instead of dainty. The gold plates are solid and don’t flake like cheaper ones I’ve tried. Packaging from Luxury Dog Collar was super classy too – felt like unboxing jewelry. Only thing is it’s definitely a statement collar, not for muddy hikes, but for walks around the neighborhood we get stopped constantly by people asking where I got it.
