This collar is very well made, the tan leather has a rich color and the crystal stones sit securely in the setting. I have a 90-pound Ridgeback who tends to lunge at squirrels, and the hardware hasn’t shown any signs of bending. The width is substantial, which distributes pressure well. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that it was extremely stiff out of the box. I had to work the leather with my hands for a couple of evenings before it started to soften up enough to comfortably buckle it on my dog. Also, the crystals are gorgeous for photos or special occasions, but for daily muddy walks it feels a bit over the top—I end up switching to a simpler collar during the week.
