I hesitated because of the price, but when the collar arrived from Luxury Dog Collar I knew instantly it was the real deal. The leather is thick and smells amazing, the gold plates are heavy and mirror-finished, and the spikes are properly oversized without being cartoonish. I have a 130 lb Cane Corso who doesn’t know his own strength, and this thing holds him without any stretching or popping stitches. The width distributes pressure well when he gets excited on walks. Packaging from Luxury Dog Collar was impressive too — velvet pouch inside a sturdy box, made it feel like an event just opening it. I’ve had it for a month, wiping it down after rainy walks, and the gold hasn’t dulled. If you want your dog to command respect and have a collar that actually lasts, this is it.

I’ll be honest, the collar is a showstopper. People stop and stare when my Pitbull wears it. The gold plating is beautiful and the spikes are dangerously cool. But functionally, it’s just too much for everyday use. The leather is crazy thick and combined with all that metal, it’s got some serious weight. My dog, who is 85 lbs and very active, got noticeably tired after about 20 minutes wearing it on a walk. I’ve switched back to his old nylon collar for hikes and only use this one for short training sessions or when we go to car meets. If you want something purely for photos or intimidation, go for it. For all-day wear on an active dog, it’s probably overkill.

This collar is no joke. I put it on my American Bulldog and he immediately looked like he owns the block. The leather is genuine and stiff at first, but it’s breaking in nicely after about two weeks of daily wear. The spikes and steel plates are solid — they’ve already survived him rubbing against a brick wall without a scratch. My only small complaint is the inside is just bare leather with no padding, so if your dog pulls hard or wears it for hours at a time, those spike rivets can press a bit. I solved it by adding a thin neoprene sleeve. Still, for the craftsmanship alone it’s a 4. I’d buy again, maybe just for shorter, more controlled outings.
