I show Great Danes and I’m always on the lookout for collars that can handle their size without looking like industrial equipment. This one is a showstopper. The red and white crystal pattern is really elegant against my harlequin coat – it adds just enough sparkle under the ring lights without stealing attention from the dog. The 6 cm width is actually flattering on a deep-chested breed and doesn’t cut into the neck. I’ve been using it for a month now at events and training, and the crystals are still perfectly in place, no dulling or yellowing. The leather has softened up a lot while keeping its shape. The D-ring is welded to a solid plate inside, so it doesn’t wobble. My only minor nitpick is that it’s a bit of a fingerprint magnet, so I wipe it down before we go into the ring to keep the crystals gleaming. Definitely a luxury item, but for special occasions it delivers.

Absolutely gorgeous collar – the red crystals against the white ones give it a really rich, almost custom-made look. The leather quality is top-notch, feels smooth and smells great. My only hiccup is the width. My dog is a large breed (Labrador/German Shepherd mix, about 90 lbs), but the 6 cm width is a bit much for her neck length. She can wear it just fine, but it sits a little wide and touches her shoulders when she puts her head down, which seems to annoy her at first. The collar also arrived quite stiff; I had to work it with leather conditioner for a couple of days to soften it up. Once broken in, though, it’s comfortable and the bling hasn’t dulled. I deducted one star only for the break-in period and the width issue, but if you’ve got a giant breed with a thicker, longer neck this would be a non-issue. The buckle and D-ring are extremely solid. I wouldn’t trust it for tie-out use, but for walks it’s impeccable.

I ordered this from Luxury Dog Collar and it arrived pretty quickly in a nice velvet pouch, which was a classy touch. The moment I took it out, I could smell the real leather. It’s thick, a full 6 cm wide, and feels like it could hold a small horse. The red and white crystals are securely set, not glued on like some cheap collars, and they catch the light beautifully without being too flashy for a male dog. My Cane Corso is 120 lbs and pulls like a tank, but the stainless steel D-ring shows zero signs of bending. It is a heavy collar, so it might be too much for a dog that isn’t used to wearing something substantial, but for us it’s perfect. After a few weeks, the leather has started to mold to his neck shape nicely. I’ve already gotten comments at the park asking where I found it.
