I bought this for my Doberman and visually it’s a showstopper. The contrast between the deep black leather and the polished gold plate is stunning, and the hand-stitching is so neat it looks machine-done. The engraved name came out elegant, no spelling errors. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the width — 6 cm is wider than I realized. It sits fine when he’s standing, but when he curls up on his bed it digs ever so slightly behind his front legs. I should have measured more carefully. I still use it for walks and outings because he gets tons of compliments, but I swap it for a softer one at home. Build quality is excellent, no scratching on the plate after a month, and the crystals haven’t budged.

Let me start by saying this collar is a piece of art. The leather is top notch and the gold plate with the little crystals makes my Mastiff look like royalty. The engraving is deep and easy to read. That said, for a dog that loves to roughhouse and roll in the dirt, this just isn’t practical. The 6 cm width, while gorgeous, seems to trap heat and my dog starts panting sooner on warm days. Also, dirt gets packed into the tiny crevices around the crystals and I have to clean it with a soft toothbrush to keep it looking nice. It’s definitely a special occasion accessory, not an everyday collar for a mud-loving giant. I kind of wish that was clearer in the description. Still, for photos and short walks, it earns its keep.

I ordered this for my 120 lb Rottweiler and it absolutely lives up to the photos. The black leather is thick and smells amazing, real full grain that softens up without losing its shape. The gold plate is substantial, not flimsy at all, and the engraving was perfect — crisp, centered, exactly what I typed. The crystals catch the light beautifully but they’re set flush so they don’t poke him. I was a little worried the 6 cm width would be too much, but on a big dog it looks balanced and powerful, not cartoonish. Packaging from Luxury Dog Collar was a nice surprise: it came in a velvet pouch inside a sturdy box, ready to gift. Shipping took about a week. My boy struts differently with this on, it’s become his “event” collar.
