I have a massive Great Dane, and finding a collar that doesn’t look like a boat rope but can handle his strength is tough. This collar is thick, beautiful leather with the crystals embedded deep – they’ve survived his roughhousing. The steel D-ring is solid, no bending after weeks of leash pulling. The green and white stones add a touch of elegance. It fits him perfectly with room to adjust. I’ve ordered a matching leash from Luxury Dog Collar already.

I bought this for my Alaskan Malamute. The design is beautiful – the green and white stones catch the light and make him look like a show dog. The leather is obviously high quality and the steel D-ring feels very secure. My only complaint is that it was quite stiff out of the box, and it took about a week of daily use to break in and become supple enough that I felt comfortable leaving it on him all day. Once it softened up, it’s been great. No signs of wear after a month. I’d still recommend it, just be prepared to work it a bit.
