✔ How are measurements taken? You need to measure your dog’s neck and body (for the collar) with a tape measure.
✔ For long-lasting use of your genuine leather products, please do not leave your collar wet! Please dry it. Normally please wipe with a damp cloth or shoe polish. Please take care of the skin of your collar by using almond oil with the help of hand or cloth every 15 days.
✔ All our Collar, Harness and Strap models are for walking purposes, please do not use them for tying!
✔ D-ring is welded.
✔ Prefer our nylon collar models and tying chains that we have specially designed for tying.

The workmanship on this collar is beautiful, no doubt. The leather is stiff at first, but after a couple of weeks it’s molding nicely to my pitbull’s neck. The spikes are edgy without being over-the-top, and they stay put. My only hiccup was the measurement. I followed the directions from the listing, but somehow I ended up with an extra inch of looseness — not a dealbreaker, I just punched an extra hole. If you’re ordering, maybe double-check your numbers before you submit. The nameplate is legible and securely attached. I got the silver plate on black leather and the contrast is sharp. I bought from Luxury Dog Collar and their customer service was polite, though I didn’t need to return anything. It’s solid, I just wish the size guide had a little more cushion for error.

I wanted to love this collar because the leather quality is genuinely good and the engraved nameplate is a classy touch. My husky looks like a little biker now. But I have to be honest — those spikes are sharp. Like, scratch your wooden chairs and doorframes sharp. He shakes his head or leans against something, and I hear the scrape. Indoors I’ve started taking it off, which defeats the purpose. Also, after about a month, one of the chrome finishes on a spike started showing tiny dull spots, even though I’ve only hand-wiped it. Not full-on rust, just not as shiny. For the price, I expected the metal to hold up better. It’s a decent collar, just not as practical for a dog that roams around the house a lot. Might be better for show or outdoor-only use.

I was a little nervous ordering something this spiked online without seeing it first, but Luxury Dog Collar really came through. The packaging was neat and the collar arrived surprisingly fast. The leather is thick buffalo hide, smells amazing, and the metal spikes have a nice weight to them — not flimsy at all. The engraving on the nameplate is crisp and exactly how I typed it. I measured my dog’s neck as instructed and it fits with room to spare. She wears it on walks and it definitely turns heads. One thing I appreciate is that the inside is smooth, so the spikes don’t touch her skin at all. It’s more of a fashion statement than a weapon, which is what I wanted. After a few rainy walks, no rust on the metal and the leather just wiped dry. Couldn’t be happier.
