I’m really impressed with this collar. The buffalo leather is thick but not harsh, and it’s broken in nicely after a couple of weeks of daily wear. My Labrador loves to roll in damp grass, and the leather has held up with no weird smells or stretching — that bit of water resistance actually works. The engraved name plate is the highlight: the text is deep, evenly spaced, and super easy to read. I ordered from Luxury Dog Collar and the packaging was lovely, almost like unwrapping a gift. Shipping was faster than I expected, too. The hardware has a solid weight to it and still looks shiny after multiple muddy adventures. My only tiny note is that the collar felt a tiny bit stiff right out of the box, but after a few days it softened up perfectly. I’d absolutely buy another as a spare.

This collar looks really classy on my shepherd mix. The engraving is crisp and centered, and the buffalo leather itself has a nice grain and feel — it doesn’t have that plasticky edge you sometimes get with cheaper collars. The anti-static coating on the metal bits seems to keep dust off, which is a thoughtful touch. My one quibble is the buckle: it’s sturdy but incredibly stiff when you try to fasten it. I almost pinched my finger the first couple of times. I’m hoping it loosens up with more use, because aside from that it’s a well-made collar. The sizing chart was accurate, and it sits comfortably on my dog’s neck without rubbing. If the buckle gets smoother over time, I’d bump it up to five stars easily. Good value for a personalized leather collar.
