This collar is really pretty and well-made. The crystals are securely set and the green looks rich against my dog’s black fur. The leather is genuine and thick, which I appreciate for durability. However, it was quite stiff right out of the package, and my dog seemed a bit uncomfortable the first couple of wears. I conditioned the leather lightly and it softened up after a few days, but I wish it came a little more flexible from the start. The width is nice and chunky, but measure carefully—my 45-lb cattle dog is on the smaller side of medium, and I had to use the last hole. Overall, it’s a solid collar that will last a long time, just expect a short break-in period.
