I’ve been through so many collars with my pit mix, he just shreds the cheap ones. This thing is a tank. The leather is thick and smells amazing—like actual leather, not that chemically junk. I had his name and my phone number engraved on the plate, and it came out crisp and deep, not scratched on the surface. Adjusting the size was easy and it stays put, doesn’t slip loose after a hard day at the park. He’s already dragged it through mud and puddles and it wiped clean with zero staining. Honestly, I’m picky and this exceeded my expectations. Might grab a second one in a different color just because.

The materials feel premium and I do think this would last years. My issue was with the sizing. I measured my dog’s neck exactly as the listing described, added the recommended two inches, and ordered the medium. It fits, but on the very last hole, which doesn’t leave any room to loosen it if he’s wearing a sweater or on a fluffier fur day. For the price, I expected better guidance. The collar itself is nicely stitched and the buffalo hide is soft but strong. I reached out to Luxury Dog Collar about an exchange, but their return window was tight and I missed it. Not a bad product, just double-check your sizing and maybe size up if you’re on the fence.

I ordered from Luxury Dog Collar after a friend sent me their link, and the whole process was smooth. It arrived in a nice little box, ready to gift (even though it was for my own pup). The leather is beautiful and the nameplate engraving is elegant, not tacky at all. My only small gripe is the buckle feels a bit stiff and heavy at first, especially for my smaller dog. It took a few days of regular use for it to soften up where it bends, but now it’s fine. The craftsmanship is obvious, no loose stitching or rough edges. I’d definitely buy again, just know it might need a short break-in period if your dog is petite.
