My only real issue is sizing: I measured his neck at 18 inches and ordered a large (listed as 17–20 inches), but even on the tightest hole it was still slouching around his shoulders. I ended up punching an extra hole, which fixed the fit. A month of daily wear and rough play later, not a single crystal has come loose and the leather has broken in beautifully without cracking. It’s a statement piece that holds up. Just be cautious with sizing—maybe size down if you’re between measurements.

I wanted to love this collar, but the stone color just isn’t accurate. I chose turquoise expecting a bright, vibrant pop, but the crystal that arrived is a much darker, almost greenish teal. It’s still a decent looking collar—the buffalo leather is genuine and well-stitched, and the engraved name plate is neat and easy to read. The collar was quite stiff at first, and my dog kept trying to scratch it off for the first couple of days. After a few wears it softened up and now he seems comfortable. The crystal itself is set firmly, no wiggling, so I’m not worried about it falling out. Functionally it’s solid, but for a piece where the stone is such a focal point, you really want the color to match what’s advertised. Three stars because it’s well-made, just not as pretty in person as I’d hoped.
