The buffalo leather is thick and stiff out of the box – it took a few days to soften up, but now it’s molded perfectly to him. The engraving is crisp and deep, not just surface-level, so I don’t see it rubbing off. The bullet spikes are intimidating without being overkill, and they’re firmly set, no wobbling at all. My dog has a habit of lunging at squirrels and the collar has held up without any stretched stitching or popped rivets. I got the name exactly how I typed it, so the customization is spot-on. Shopping from Luxury Dog Collar was smooth, and it arrived in a nice dust bag, not just tossed in a box. For a handmade piece, the price felt fair.

This collar is a statement piece. The black buffalo leather has a rich matte finish and the chrome bullet studs catch the light like crazy. I ordered it engraved with my dog’s name – letters are clean and centered, really classy. I use it for walks in the city and it gets compliments nonstop. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the weight. It’s substantial, which speaks to quality, but my 70lb pittie mix took a day to adjust. Now he’s fine, but if your dog is very active or sensitive, maybe consider it for shorter outings. The buckle is solid and the holes didn’t stretch despite him pulling. Smell of real leather when unboxing was a nice touch. No regrets, just know it’s a heavy piece of hardware.
