I ordered a custom engraved collar for my Doberman from Luxury Dog Collar and I’m genuinely impressed. The brown buffalo leather is thick and substantial without being stiff – it softened up after a couple of walks. The crystal detailing sparkles just enough to look classy, not gaudy, and the nameplate engraving is deep and easy to read. The stainless hardware feels heavy-duty, and the antistatic coating actually seems to help with the crazy amount of hair he attracts. Packaging was secure, and shipping was faster than expected. If I had to nitpick, the collar was a tiny bit snug even though I measured his neck carefully, so maybe size up if your dog is between sizes. Overall, it’s a gorgeous, well-made piece that gets compliments everywhere.

The leather quality is top-notch, and the engraved name plate looks elegant. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on my border collie’s new collar already. The metal hardware feels sturdy and the D-ring hasn’t scratched at all. My only small complaint is that a couple of the crystals on mine are set slightly crooked, so up close it looks a little hand-finished in a not-so-perfect way. It’s not super noticeable from a distance, but for the price I expected every stone to be perfectly aligned. Also, the collar runs a tiny bit wide for my dog’s neck; I measured carefully, but it’s a hair looser than I’d like even on the tightest hole. Not a dealbreaker, though. The leather is softening up nicely with wear and it doesn’t irritate her skin at all. Would buy again, just wish the crystal alignment was flawless.
