Craftsmanship is beautiful. The braided leather feels substantial but flexible, and the colour is exactly that rich oxblood red I’d hoped for. I use it on my 35kg boxer, and on city pavements the 80cm length gives brilliant close control without him tripping over it. My only tiny gripe – and it’s not a fault of the leash – is that for open field walks where I want to give him a bit more sniffing room, it’s too short. I should have measured more carefully. That said, the leather is aging wonderfully after a few weeks of rain and mud, and the hardware still looks new. If you have a medium dog and mostly do heelwork, you’ll adore it. It feels like an heirloom piece.
