I ordered this for my Presa Canario, and it exceeded every expectation. The copper inlay catches the light without being flashy, and the engraved nameplate is crisp and beautifully centered. The leather is thick, sturdy, and smells incredible. The asymmetrical design with the warrior head emblems makes it feel like something out of a mythic armory. I was a little nervous about sizing, but I followed the guide from Luxury Dog Collar and it fits perfectly with enough holes to adjust as he fills out. Packaging was classy too—velvet pouch, no cheap plastic. It’s heavy, so not for a lazy couch dog, but on a powerful breed it sits like it belongs. I’ve gotten more comments at the park than I can count. It’s not just a collar, it’s a statement piece.

This collar is gorgeous, no doubt. The engraving detail on the warrior heads and the copper scrollwork is museum quality. My Belgian Malinois looks like a war dog from an ancient fresco. I deducted one star because the collar is substantially heavier than I anticipated. For a leaner, high-energy breed like a Mal, it took a few days for him to stop trying to shake it off. It’s perfectly fine now, and the leather is breaking in nicely, but if you have a younger dog or one not used to wearing gear, ease them into it. Shipping from Luxury Dog Collar was faster than promised, which was a nice surprise. I’d recommend it for photo shoots and controlled walks more than off-leash roughhousing.

My Rottweiler wears this every day and it still looks fresh. The copper hasn’t tarnished or scratched despite him rubbing against fences and rolling in dirt. Nameplate hasn’t budged. Leather softened up after a week but didn’t stretch out. It’s got some weight to it, which actually seems to calm him down during walks. Only thing is you’ve gotta be careful putting it on—the copper edges are sharp if you’re not gentle. Otherwise, no complaints. Seriously tough collar for a tough dog.
