I ordered this from Luxury Dog Collar and honestly didn’t expect it to arrive so quickly, but it was at my door in less than a week with really nice packaging – tissue wrapped and a little velvet pouch. The collar itself is stunning. The black buffalo leather feels thick and substantial, with a subtle sheen that doesn’t look cheap. The yellow crystals are set evenly and catch the light beautifully without being gaudy. I had the nameplate engraved with my dog’s name and my phone number, and the etching is crisp, deep enough that it won’t rub off after a few months. Fits my large boy perfectly with room to adjust. We’ve worn it in light rain and the leather didn’t soak through or stain. It’s quickly become our special occasion collar, but honestly, it’s holding up so well I might just leave it on for everyday. Feels like a custom piece you’d pick up from a boutique at a fraction of the price.

I fell in love with this collar the moment I unwrapped it. The combination of black leather and yellow crystals is so striking on my black Lab, and the custom engraving makes it feel really personal. Unfortunately, after about two weeks of daily walks and some enthusiastic rolling in the grass, I noticed the leather was starting to scuff more than I’d expect from buffalo hide, and one of the smaller crystals near the edge is a tiny bit wobbly – not falling out yet, but I’m keeping an eye on it. I think this collar is better suited as a dress collar for dinners out, vet visits, or photos, not for a dog who wrestles with other pups or loves to swim. I still get compliments every time she wears it, and the craftsmanship in the stitching and the nameplate is lovely. Just know it’s a bit delicate for a truly rambunctious dog, and I’ll probably switch to something more rugged for day-to-day use while saving this for events.

The collar is beautiful, no question. The black leather has that rich, broken-in feel right out of the box, and the yellow crystals are vibrant – they almost glow against dark fur. The engraving on the nameplate is super clean; you can feel the letters when you run your finger over them. My only slight hesitation is the hardware. The D-ring and the buckle are decently made with a nice finish, but my dog is a 70-pound puller, and I’d feel more comfortable if the metal parts were a bit thicker, just for my own peace of mind. It hasn’t failed, and I’ve used it on walks on a short lead, but I’m careful not to let him lunge while wearing it. The leather itself is tough and has held up to a couple of muddy scrambles with a quick wipe. A really solid buy if your dog isn’t a heavy-duty escape artist, just keep an eye on the clasp if you have a tank like mine.
