I have a 130lb Presa Canario who has snapped cheap nylon harnesses like twigs, so I was hesitant to spend this much, but I’m glad I did. The leather is thick and genuinely tough, and the gold hardware hasn’t tarnished at all after a month of daily walks through mud and rain. You can tell it’s handmade — the stitching is reassuringly heavy. It took about a week of short sessions for the leather to mould to his chest and stop squeaking, but now it’s like a second skin. Ordered from Luxury Dog Collar and it arrived in a nice box with a dust bag, which was a classy touch. Only tiny gripe: the D-ring for the leash is a bit chunky and clinks against his ID tags when he trots, but I just loop a small silicone ring on to quiet it. Absolutely worth it for the control and the look.
