This collar definitely turns heads on walks. The leather is thick, smells amazing, and the chrome hardware looks clean. I got the customized name plate and it came out exactly as requested. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the spike tips are genuinely sharp. I know that’s the point for aesthetics, but when my pit leans against my leg I feel like I’m being attacked by a porcupine. I applied a tiny dab of clear nail polish to each tip to take the edge off, which worked fine. Also, know that this isn’t a lightweight collar—it’s heavy, which suits my dog’s size but might be too much for a younger pup. Overall, the craftsmanship is lovely, and I’m happy with my purchase. If you’re on the fence, just be prepared for the spikes to be as intense as they look in the photos.

I ordered this for my 90lb blue nose who destroys everything. The buffalo leather is rigid but broke in nicely after a week. The spikes aren’t just for show—they’re solid metal and firmly set, no wobbling at all. I also got his name stamped on it, and the embossing is deep and clean, not some cheap stamp that will wear off. I was a little worried about sizing because I’ve been burned before, but I followed the measurement guide on the Luxury Dog Collar site and it fits perfectly with room left on the strap. The packaging was really sharp too, came in a cloth bag with a care card. Shipping was way faster than I expected for a handmade piece. My only wish is that the inside was lined with something a bit softer for dogs with sensitive skin, but my big-headed boy doesn’t seem to mind at all. He struts around the dog park like he owns the place now.
